Sue Darby the Owner of Sue's Tiny Costumes offers online Pattern Drafting Classes and has also written 2 books:Pattern Making for Dolls ©2003-2004Pattern Drafting For Miniatures and Pattern Making for Dolls ©2003-2004Pattern Making for Dolls which are the basis of the classes.

The classes offered are for Pattern Making for Dolls from the beginner's level 101 and 101A classes teaching basic block flat patterning. To the 102 and 103 intermediate level Stylization classes. Up to the 200 and 201 classes which are computer based drafting using vector based drawing programs.

Sue's Tiny Costumes also offers Mini Doll U courses in Pattern Drafting for Miniature Dolls. These courses are specifically geared to drafting for just miniature dolls only. There is a Beginner 101 course, an Intermediate 102 course and later on there will be an Advanced 200 computerized drafting course.

In addition there will also be various miscellaneous specific design drafting courses as well under the 103 Intermediate group of courses.

Can't find that special pattern? No one carries a specific design idea you'd like to see?
To order a custom pattern for any small (under 12" Barbie or smaller) or miniature doll simply tell me what doll you would like the pattern for and describe your design (or provide a picture or URL via e-mail.) I will then ask you to send a few simple measurements for me to draft from.
