Current Additions: The library brings out current additions containing bibliographic entries pertaining to the document added to the TISS library. It includes Books, Conference Proceedings, Reports and other documents added to the library. It is a quarterly publication. The entries are arranged subjectwise. Author and Keyword Index is provided at the end of the list. It is available in print copies, and also the user can search this information on OPAC module in the library.
SDI Services: This service gives the record of articles published quarterly in the journals. Selection of the article is done from the journal subscribed by the Library. Subject coverage is according to the needs of scholars and faculty user profile. This list includes journal article, annual reports, conference papers/working papers and reports. All the article entries are arranged according to subjectwise and alphabetically. The keyword index is given at the end of the list.
The TISS Library has been recognised by INFLIBNET, Ahmedabad as one of the Six Document Delivery Centres spread across the country. Document Delivery Service basically refers to the supply of photocopy of research papers from journals or conference proceedings, against a request from a user either through the librarian or from the users directly. The users can send their request either by post, E-Mail or Fax. On the bases of users request for photocopy of any article/articles of journals, the request shall be met within a fortnight from the date of receipt of the query. The library will charge at nominal rate for handling the service.
The library undertakes the responsibility of providing Document Delivery Service to all the universities and colleges from various parts of the country.

The Library has equipped with most modern Canon photocopying machine and offers Xeroxing facility to students, faculty, staff and outsiders. The charges for TISS members is Rs. 0.50 per exposures and for outsiders Rs.1.50 per exposure. Library has the plans to install two more machines.

This is an unique service provided by library based on the newspapers subscribed wherein the selected topic of interest to the users like Aids, Women, Drug Abuse, Girl Child etc. are clipped and maintained in files topic wise for reference to the users.
OPAC module of the library enables users to formulate their query and search with various access points is author, title, document type, subject number & keywords.
Library has access to INTERNET facility that encompasses a broad range of services to augment education and research activity. INTERNET service is provided to all the faculty members & research scholars of the institute.
Library provides access to various CD-ROM databases in the field of social sciences to support the academic and research activity of Faculty & Research Scholars.

Electronic Reference ServicesThe reference librarian also answer questions submitted through the e-mail and will be answered within two working days, usually faster. This method is usually best for factual or directory type questions, certain other types of questions may be best answered in person.
