Scouting: Big kid at 6-3- 210, Bissonette is a project, but one with a lot of potential.. Very solid on his skates, Ussually isn't as physical as his size and strength allow him to be although at the CHL top prospects game showed how much potential he has in that area.. Threw some awesome hits.. Hopefully he can play like that on more of a regular basis.. is a rock when getting run into by forwards.. Keeps a solid defensive position.. Very good foot speed for a big man his size.. Very good rushing the puck up ice.. Has a little trouble with his backwards speed as at times can get outskated but his huge wingspan allows him to make up good ground.. Has a good first pass out of the zone.. Booming shot from the point.. Very smart defensivelly and ussually looks for the safest plays.. Very solid defense prospect.. Size and skills make him worth taking a flyer on in the middle rounds.. |
