Scouting: Excellent skating defenseman who can really rush the puck.. Very fast once he gets at top speed, can skate right through the other team in seconds.. Moves well laterally and in reverse.. Has enough footspeed to keep up with anyone... Very smart, knows when to pinch and has a defensive conscience.. has enough footspeed to get back when he is deep in the other zone and there is a giveaway.. See's the ice well and makes a good, hard crisp first pass when the opportunity is there.. Very good in the transition game.. Generally will make the smartest play, bankings it off the boards or looking for the outlet pass.. Very patient in his own end.. keeps a good position.. Solid with his stick, keeps it in the passing lanes or can make a good poke check.. Very accurate point shot.. Can let a boomer go but most of the time elects to let one go where there is a opportunity for a rebound or a tip .. Hard hitter who can really lay you out but ussually just makes the solid hit.. Does'nt always look to hammer the guy but when he wants too, he can let you know how hard of a hitter he is.. Excellent potential.. Alot like Lukas Krajicek with a physical presence.. |
