Scouting: "Patty O" is an awesome Offensive package.. excellent, hard shot arsenal which he uses very often from anywhere on the ice.. Can score goals from deep in the corner, top of the circle or anywhere else.. Quarterbacks Powerplay in Missasauga.. wide variety of passes including a beutiful drop pass which he shows off frequently.. Can thread the needle.. Good puckhandler who can skate through traffic without difficulty.. When in control of the puck is in control of the tempo of the game.. Beutiful skating stride.. Very smart, knows what play to make at what time either feathering a beutiful pass or loading up for the shot.. Not a large player but use's his size effectivelly.. Will fight back when bigger players bully him.. Could improve his defensive play although he isn't what you would call a defensive liability.. All the qualities are there for him to become a top offensive player at the NHL level. |
