Scouting: Solid little guy is a well rounded 2-way player.. Excellent skater, speedy, very agile, keeps his head up, quick feet down low.. Smart playmaker with good vision.. Good stickhandler with some fast hands.. Has a hard shot which he gets off quickly.. fairly fiesty little player, not effected by the rough stuff, will play through it and even throws some hits.. Very good toughness for a player of his size.. Reliable on the faceoff, wins more than he looses .. Strong on the puck and on his skates.. Hard forechecker who never stops working.. keeps a good position and gives a solid effort in his own zone.. Very responsible defensively for such a young player.. This is one guy you wish came in a bigger package.. If he was a couple inches taller and 20 pounds heavier he'd probably be picked in the 1st round though his size will probably limit him to the second. |
