Scouting: Stuart is a 2 way defenseman who will probably progress into a solid top 4 in the NHL.. Smooth skater with good speed, moves well laterally and in reverse.. Very good transition game.. Sees the ice real well and makes a solid first pass.. good puckhandler, doesnt have a problem lugging it up the ice.. Very strong on the puck, hard to knock off it.. Accurate point shot, ussually low and along the ice.. Smart defensive player, keeps a good position on opponents.. keeps his stick in passing lanes eliminating a lot of plays.. Sometimes tries to do a little too much and is caught running around.. Has enough footspeed to bring himself right back into the play though.. Clears the crease.. |
