Scouting: In my opinion, Brown is the most NHL ready player's in the 2003 draft.. When on his game is a dangerous sniper..  Very fast, good all-around skater who is at top speed in just a couple steps.. good agility, is very good skating through traffic, can bounce out of checkers grasps quickly,  sees a hole and takes it.. good stickhandler can manover it around people, is strong on the puck as well.. Good playmaker who see's the ice well.. excellent wrist shot which he gets off quickly.. awesome set of hands on him.. Hard working forechecker, his skating  is really effective as he can stop and turn corners very fast..  Defensivelly Brown is very aggressive skating around backchecking and is starting to show more of a physical presence of late.. Smart penalty killer his offensive skills really help him here as he can take a good skate with it into the offensive zone and hold onto it for a while.. Excellent prospect.
