Scouting: 2 way Defender.. Good mobility, forwards, laterally and in reverse.. Makes a hard, crisp first pass out of his zone and see's the ice real well.. Good with the puck, skating it up ice, hard to get it off his stick.. Good in the transition game.. Pinches nicely, has enough hockey sense to know when to do it and enough speed to get back into the play when he is too deep.. Has a accurate, hard shot.. solid defensivelly.. Very physical, will take the body first then the puck.. makes the safe play outta his zone, very smart.. Hard hitter, very tough battling in the corners, ussually involved physically, battling or tieing someone up almost everytime the puck comes into his zone.. Keeps a good defensive postion at all times, doesn't run around.. Will do pretty much anything to stop a scoring chance.. Excellent prospect and possible future captain.. Has good potential as a top 2 defender just has to refine his offensive game more. |
