Stats: Tai!! Yay!! Ok, Tai is the official/unofficial leader of the Digidestined. He is very brave, as is evident by the crest of courage. He has a tendency to jump into things without thinking too much, or be a little stubborn. He thought that being the leader would be easy, but as he grows and develops over his time in the Digiworld, he realizes that it is much harder that he thought. Tai is very protective of his little sister Kari, and is apt to blame himself if something is wrong with her. Tai wears a pair of goggles on his head, and always carries around his neato pocket telescope, which has come in handy on several occasions. Overall, he is a very good person, brother, and friend, and a good leader.

Stats: Ok, as you will probably read on pretty much any other site known to man, Sora is like the mother or big sister of the group. She and Joe are the two responsible ones, and she is always trying to be the voice of common sense. She is usually spliting up Tai/Matt fights, comforting the little ones (Tk and Kari), talking Tai out of things, and trying to make the best choices, among other things. Most choices she makes are for the right reasons, but she can be a little over cautious too. She also wears a blue hat, which is rumored to be her "lucky hat". Sora is very friendly and helpful, and a very loving person, so the crest of love is well suited to her, though she did not believe it herself for a time.

Matt

Full name: Yamato "Matt" Ishida

Stats: Matt, the one labeled as "so cool". Though this title is always attached to him, there is much more to Matt than what he reveals on the outside. Despite the fact the he and Tai fight most of the time, they are the very best of friends. Matt is also very protective of his little brother, TK. Sometimes, he is a tad over protective. During the Digidestineds fight with Puppetmon, Matt realizes that TK doesn't really need him so much any more. This kind of puts him out a little bit. He tends to be a bit of a rebel, not always taking a liking to Tai's somewhat leadership. Matt likes to keep to himself, and do things his own way. He also plays the harmonica, and quite well at that. Matt is a true friend, earning him the crest of friendship.

Stats: Mimi is the superficial girly-girl in the group. She has lead a rather protected and spoiled life, so she is used to taking it easy. At first, it seems she is only concerned with not getting dusty, and not wanting to sweat, but as time passes, she realizes what she must do, and stops worrying so much about petty things. She likes pink (well duh) and always uses the mall, shopping, beauty, and other stuff like that when talking. Whe you really get to know the real Mimi, a very good person shows through. She is very kind and caring, like the time she helped Ogremon when he was hurt, even though he was their enemy. She will also speak her mind truthfully at all times, gaining her the crest of sincerity.

Stats: And here we have our resident genius, Izzy. Izzy is the pint-sized computer programmer, and appears to love computers more than people. But hey, his smarts aren't all for nothing...they got him his nifty crest of knowledge! His fashion sense is somewhat unique, and is never without his yellow-pineapple-laptop-of-doom. Izzy has gotten our heros out of many a scrape with his "particular talents" as he put it. It is usually Izzy that finds the answers to the more obscure puzzles that the Digidestined find throughout their journeys, and uses his yellow-pineapple-laptop-of-doom to look up the profiles of many of the digimon they meet. As we find out later, Izzy is an adopted kid, which I don't think has a big impact on the show itself.

Color: Dark Gray
Stats: Joe, the dependable, gulliable, short-nerved, hypochondriac. He feels he need to take all the responsibility for the whole group, as he is the oldest. His paternal-like instincts can be REALLY annoying (I think you know what I mean) but they helped to get him the lovely crest of reliability. Joe is always carrying around the big bag-o-stuff.......first aid and emergency kit at first (before they go back to the real world in the middle of the Myotismon episodes) then stuff he thought was handy (hehe...TOILET PAPER!!) Joe whines a lot, and can be a big pain in the butt, but he will always come through in the end, and cares about the others. He is a valuable member of the digidestined team.

Full name: Takeru "TK" Takaishi

Stats: Awwww!!!! It's cutie widdle TK!! TK is among my personal favorite digidestined. At first, TK could be a big cry-baby, and would do most anything to impress his older brother Matt. He looked to Matt for guidence and protection. As the show progresses, he grows and devlops a lot, depending less and less on Matt. At one point, TK tells Matt that he doesn't need his constant protection. He becomes stronger as a whole. TK is always full of hope, and always sees what can be done. This quality earns him the crest of hope! Ok, I gotta say, TK has the best set of digimon, along with Kari. The strongest of all the digidestined digimon belongs to this little guy... the best things really do come in small packages!

Full name: Hikari "Kari" Kamiya

Partner: Gatomon**
Color: Pink
Stats: Kari is the little sister of Tai, and appears in the middle of the series (the Myotismon saga). She was the mysterious eighth child that Myotismon was searching for. Kari was intended to be a digidestined from the start, but she got sick and couldn't go to camp with everyone else. When Tai returned home breifly (in I don't remember which episode), she knew about Koromon, which really surprised Tai. She saw the two fighting digimon long ago with Tai, and thats how she knew. During the Myotismon saga, she got her digivice after a long story (which I don't intend to tell here) and became one of the digidestined. She is a strong child, not a cry baby at all, and has a sweet, caring, and innocent personality. She cares about all things, and is pure. The crest of light is suited to her perfectly. She always has her trusty whistle, which came in very handy, and is good at patching up hurt digimon. One other note, she is regarded as Queen Kari by the Numemon. Kari is one of my favorite digidestined, along with TK and Tai.
