Lunch/ Tea Dress
Rose wears the beautiful Lunch dress to the lunch with Ruth, Cal, Molly Brown, Bruce Ismay, and Thomas Andrews. She also is wearing this gown on deck when Jack first sees her.  It consists of a green short sleeved overdress, underlayed with a white embrodered lace, with scalloped edges underdress.
The overbodice has a deep V front and back with embrodered lace sleeves. The overskirt is made of two patterns of lave in alternating layers. The waist is encircled with a yellow-red band, creating the appearance of a belt. This band has black edges, and is accented with a  orange-red flower in the front!
The Lunch dress is a typical example for the fashion of the time. It consists of a long, tight green satin dress which is overlayed with pale cream lace.
Under the deep "V" in the front, is what appears to be a corsage of green satin, but this is attached and belongs, to the dress.  The long lace sleeves, in contrast to the rest of the dress, not underlayed with satin.  The ends of the sleeves are attached to the wrist, the ends of the sleeves falling like a trumpet, over Rose's hands. The embrodery of the lace, floral designs, turn out best on the sleeves, since this lace has no backing of any color.
The skirt is also made of satin on which five layers of lace are arranged. Within this it always changes from a wider lace of about eight inches, to a narrower approxamently four inch lace.
These different laces change, going from the top of the skirt, always from wide to narrow. The wider lace has floral embrodery, the narrower just has ripples.

The back of the skirt of the dress cannot be seen from the backside in the movie, it must be assumed that the skirt is slightly wider in the back, this allowing Rose's legs to move more easily. Also, the movement of the skirt can be seen when Rose walks away from the rail, which supports my theroy of the skirt's construction.
If you would like a copy of this dress, my recommendation is to visit That Sinking Feeling in Germany or Past and Present Creations, which sells this dress for $600, which you can find in the links section!
