5/16/05: Junior Jon Carlson pitched a complete game striking out 8, walking one to get the win for Glenbrook South over Evanston 8-1. Senior Matt Drew went 3-4 with a double and a run.

5/14/05:
The Glenbrook Souh Titans knocked off the Niles North Vikings on Saturday 5-4. Junior Blake Buzard got the win in relief pitching 2 innings and giving up 2 hits and striking out 2.

5/12/05:
Glenbrook South won its 7th game in 8 tries on Thursday with an 11-9 victory over Maine South and in the process sweeping the season series. Bryan Olson drove in three runs on two hits while Tim Benz drove in 3 on 3 hits.

5/10/05:
The Glenbrook South Titans improved to 14-12 overall on the year with a 13-5 conference victory over Maine South on Tuesday. Jon Carlson pitched a complete game 5-hitter for South. Senior Tim Benz had 3 hits and 3 RBIs while Jeff Grodecki drove home 3 on 3 hits. GBS is now 5-2 in the CSL South.

5/7/05:
Senior Bryan Olson earned his 5th victory on the year as the Glenbrook South Titans defeated the Deerfield Warriors 10-7. Senior Tim Burke went 3-5 while junior Jeff Grodecki went 2-4 with 2 RBI's. Olson went 5 innings and struk out 4 as the future Indiana Hooiser earned his second victory of the week. Glenbrook South is now 13-12 overall.

5/3/05:
The Glenbrook South Titans knocked off the Niles West Wolves in the CSL-South battle 2-1. GBS' Bryan Olson pitched a complete game while striking out 12 and allowing only 1 run on four hits. South senior Tim Benz hit a homerun for the Titans, which was all the offense they needed. GBS is now 12-11 overall.

  The offense came around for the Glenbrook South men's varsity baseball team on Saturday as the Titans won both games of a doubleheader against Buffalo Grove 7-4 and 9-7. GBS senior Jack Doron won his second game of the year in game number one as the Titans continued their hard hitting streak. Coming out of game one, GBS had scored 27 runs in their last 3 games. South's Pat Higley hit a HR, had two hits and drove in two on the afternoon. Matt Drew was the star of Glenbrook's 9-7 game two victory as he had 2 doubles and 3 runs to lead the Titans past the Bison. This is South's first doubleheader sweep of the young season. And with both victories, the Titans have climbed back to .500 thanks to a four-game winning streak.


4/5/05:
Chris Batti had two home runs for Glenbrook South in their 6-3 victory over Lake Forest. GBS pitcher Jon Carlson pitched a complete game, giving up 3 earned runs and striking out 4. GBS improves to 3-3 on the year.

3/24/05:
Chris Batti and Tim Benz had two hits apiece in the Glenbrook South 14-4 victory over Clemente. Benz also drove in two runs along with Tim Burke. Bryan Olson pitched 5 shutout innings for the Titans, giving up onlu 2 hits and striking out 5. GBS now 1-0.
