This picture is of the feeding of the five thousand. Many people had heard about where Jesus was so they left on foot to find him. After Jesus had finished praying, he saw these crowds and helped many. When it started to get later, the disciples were worried about the food situation since they only had two fish and five loaves of bread. Jesus, taking the loaves and fish, said a blessing and then the fish and bread were multiplied until everyone was full. This miracle is a foreshadowing of The Last Supper in which it will be the next time Jesus breaks bread with his disciples.
