This picture shows the Transfiguration of Jesus. One day, Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a mountain and was transformed right in front of them. When the three apostles looked at Jesus, they saw Moses and Elijah next to him. Peter said to Jesus, "If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah" (MT 17:4). While Peter was talking God said that this was his son and to listen to him. They apostles became afraid and looked away but when they looked back Jesus was just standing there like normal.
