| I would like to dedicate this page to my penpal Karen and her daughter Deanna whose birthday it is on 23rd May. I won't of course divulge any ages???? I am so lucky to have Karen as a friend and regardless of the distance between us our friendship has only grown stronger since we have known each other and we both know that God's guiding hand has brought us together for a purpose. In the beginning Karen was there for me 100% to help me to cope with my husband's death a year ago in February. I know she had her own problems at the time as well but she never let me down once and was always there for me when I needed her |
| With her love and support and needless to say through our Saviour Jesus Christ I know I am who I am today through God's timely intervention in both our lives and for bringing us together. I have since had the pleasure of being able to reciprocate and help Karen earlier this year when she had problems of her own and I feel that we are both growing stronger in our faith through our friendship and that we will always be there for each other no matter what. I was Confirmed on 13th May this year (2001) and I was overjoyed when Karen and Deanna came down for the occasion. In my opinion it made the whole day complete just having her here and it meant so much to me.If a friendship was ever meant to be then I would say that this one was a special delivery from Heaven. I sincerely hope that Karen's Birthday is truly blessed by God and that our friendship will continue to grow stronger and stronger as each year goes by although I don't personally have any doubts that this will be the case. The thing that I find that is so wonderful about our friendship is the fact that it is not onesided and we are both ready and prepared to help each other should the need arise (which is the way it should be). The other thing that I also find wonderful is the fact that we both love Jesus Christ our Saviour with all our hearts and souls and mind and always will. |
| I would like to thank Deanna for coming down with her Mum on the train on the day of my Confirmation. I do appreciate it and it was lovely to see them both. despite the problems with the trains coming down. I really wish Deanne a Happy, Happy, Birthday for 23rd and hope she has a brilliant day and that she gets all the presents she wanted. |
