My Ornaments I'm putting up the Christmas tree And it makes me realize How very different I must seem, So unique in my Savior's eyes. Each ornament has a story. No two are quite the same. Here's the one that I had made, Painted with my baby's name. Here's the one that I had ordered From a movie I once saw. And, here's the first one I ever bought It's the reindeer made of straw. My daughter made this one in Daycare. She was so proud of what she'd done. Oh, and here's my very favorite, The one with Mary and her baby son. We all are like these ornaments; Different stories, shapes, and size. How unique we all must seem When seen through our Savior's eyes. © 2002 by Claytia Doran bbabe@cox-internet.com |
