| A TESTIMONY FROM KAREN - A DEAR FRIEND I HAVE THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING |
| Its difficult to do a testimony really about my faith but I will say that although I have been "religious" all my life I have only probably been a Christian for about 8 years. Through the terminal illness of my late husband I found a very strong faith that sustained him up to his death and that kept me going on after his death. Jesus didn't promise me an easy life, but he did promise to be with me throughout everything and I have really felt him walking with me through my life. When my husband died 8 years ago my life fell apart and I was left with two young children to bring up alone without him but I was always comforted by the presence of Jesus helping us through that journey. I am now remarried and have had two further children and although I look back at that sad part of my life, I feel I can see where Jesus was throughout that time, carrying me. Through my faith my new husband has become to know Jesus as his loving father and we now worship altogether as a family at my Church I have so many good Christian friends who have helped me through my life, and those who are still there for me picking me up when I fall, ready to smile and help me. I thank God for my husband, my four children and my very special treasured friends. God is Good, His love endures forever!! Karen |
