I was born in 1928 in Yugoslavia and left it 1966. Meanwhile I studied medicine and wrote for literary magazines, radio and newspapers.

In 1966 I left Yugoslavia. Why? I did not see any future for me in Yugoslavia. Tito looked like his own monument in bronze, stern and implacable and I was almost sure he would survive me. Since that time I have lived and worked in various parts of Africa as a medical doctor. I have had some of my work broadcast by the BBC and published in local and foreign magazines. In 1997, an independent publisher Slobodan Masic published my novel Titovi Havaji (Serbo- Croat language) in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.
