Krinoline

The old version

The new version

The cylinder with the spring is an old pneumatic pump without a valve.
It's connected directly to the small cylinder in the top of the ride in
order to swing the ride. When you pump it the small cylinder makes the
same movements. However there wasn't enough air for the full swing so I
added 2 more pumps to triple the air mass. Also the
new Lego-hoses are too flexible: they expand a little when pressurized
and shrink when vacuumed so I had to use old Lego-hoses that are not so
flexible. In that way I could use all the air to swing the ride instead
of expanding the hoses.

I sewed the roof out of my little sister's bikini.
