Mae govannen ! My name is Tal and I welcome you into my site, here you shall visit at your pleasure, save only that you can depart, not as Turgon appointed to Eol of Nan Elmoth . When I came up with the idea to make a site about Tolkien's writings, it sounded good, but then a problem appeared in my mind, what shall I put in the site, there are already many sites with pictures, biography of Tolkien, information of his books and so on... then what the site will be about ? It shall be mainly about my work and yours. meaning here as in "The Hall Of Fire" you will show your stuff, if it is songs of characters , if it is a drawing of your own of some scene that you love, or whatever that relates to Tolkien books that you made and it is your wish to share it with us. If you got an idea, comment, or anything else that you want to tell me of this site send it to here.

                                                                                   [Taken from the lost road]

"The father made the world for Elves and Mortals, and he gave it    into the hands of the lords. They are in the west. They are holy, blessed, and beloved: save the dark one. He is fallen. Melko has gone from earth: it is good. For Elves they made the moon, but for men the red sun: Which are beautiful. To all they gave in measure the gifts of Iluvatar. The world is fair, the sky, the seas, the earth and all that is in them. Lovely is Numenor. But my heart rest not here forever; for here is ending, and there will be an end and the Fading, When all is counted, and all numbered at last, but yet it will not be enough, not enough. What will the father, O father, give me in that day beyond the end when my sun fail?"
