- Assisted four of SNV's local partner organisations - all in Central-West Mindanao region - in enabling them to continue after the phase-out of SNV from the Philippines.
- Focused on special marginalised groups: the partners were different Indigenous Peoples and engaged in securing their traditional, ancestral land and developing a sustainable land management plan.
- Conducted trainings in Organisational Strengthening & Institutional Development (ID/OS) and conflict resolution. This includes organisational diagnosis and strategic planning.
- Assisted in building partnerships with international donors as well as linkages to local government agencies. This includes assistance in project proposal writing and budgeting.
1993 to 1997: Rural Development Consultant - SNV/Netherlands Development Organisation
Assignment: Ranao Community Development Network/Lunduan

- Assisted in the conceptualisation and implementation of the Sustainable Integrated Area Development (SIAD) programme in the hinterlands of Iligan City where Indigenous Peoples are the main target groups. The programme contained service delivery in the field of agricultural production, marketing, primary health care. My job focused on capacity building of the local community organisers and leaders. I also assisted in the research on traditional culture and practices to support their Ancestral Domain Claim.
- Conducted trainings in PRA, project cycle management (planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation), process approach in development work and, last but not least, sustainable agriculture.
- Assisted the development workers of 12 local NGOs and CBOs in the implementation of their various projects: proposal writing, linking up with international donors and databanking. This includes troubleshooting and problem solving of a wide range of problems.
1988 to 1992: Agricultural Consultant - SNV/Netherlands Development Organisation
