| In May of 1981 my father and I rode behind Chesapeake and Ohio 614 on an excursion from St.Louis Missouri to Flora Illinois. The train traveled over the Chessie Systems B&O route. The Chessie System had painted the cars on this train in their current scheme of yellow, orange, and blue. The trip included several run bys along the B&O line from St.Louis to Flora. Even though I was pretty young at the time the 614 left me with lasting memories during this trip. | |||||||||||||||||||
