Cam at 3 years
Cam is our first son that we adopted. He was born November 28, 1989, and came to live with us on January 11, 1990, when he was just six weeks old. He was a preemie and struggled with poor health at first, but the Lord healed him and now he is so big, strong, and healthy! He was born with a valve in his heart that needed surgery, but it resolved itself. Then he had many ear
infections, but that also resolved without needed tubes put in. He had asthma when he was very young, but outgrew it. This is why I know the Lord healed him...because everytime we thought we had to solve a problem, He fixed it for us!!!
Cam loves to make things. Give him a cardboard box, paper, tape, glue, and scissors...then watch him create a city or an airplane or what-have-you. He also loves cats. His cat, Muffin, just had 3 kittens two weeks ago so he's very happy about that.
He has let his grades slide a little this year as he's trying to get by without doing his homework. That's not working real well for him. ;~) He is a ten year old boy who is ready for summer! This year he will get to go to church camp away from home for the first time. He's looking forward to that and to learning how to swim. He almost had it by the end of last summer.
I don't know what Cam wants to do when he grows up yet either, but I think it may be building something. Tom's an engineer so maybe he'll follow in his dad's shoes. We'll see...
