In Memory of Angela
May 31, 1985- July 20, 2002
It is with very deep sadness that we say goodbye to one of our own teens. Angela
went home to her Lord on July 20th as a result of a traffic accident. Ang was very active in her church in her hometown of Bonneau South Carolina. She had just recently worked in the Vacation Bible School program at church, and was so happy to report in our chat room about the numbers of children that came to know the Lord during that week. Its so tragic when one so young leaves us but we rejoice in the knowledge that Angie knew the Lord. "
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord", and we know that she is even now in the arms of her Lord and Saviour whom she loved above all else. Angie didnt have the chance to be the teen of the week., but I would like to share her answers with you because I think it gives a better picture of her than I ever could.
1. Where are you from? Bonneau, South Carolina
2. How old are you?  17
3. How long have you known the Lord? 9 Years
4. What are your hobbies?  I'm very involved in my church, mostly with the younger children and youth. So my hobbies are hanging out with them, driving my new truck, chatting on-line, eatting grits, and sleeping.
5. What do you want to be when you're older? I want to be a youth leader.
6. What is your favorite scripture?  John 3:16 It makes me feel loved, even when it seems like no one does. Lifts me up on a bad day. And makes me remember just what my Father did for me.
7. Who are your role models ? My Aunt Linda, she helped shape me into the person I am today. I hope that one day I'll be like her.
8. If you could change anything about the world we live in what would it be?
Stricter punishments for those who break the law.
9. What is the one most important thing about yourself you would like others to know about you?  I love Jesus, and one day I'm going to heaven to rejoice in His presences.
10. Describe yourself in one word.  Outgoing

Angie will be missed by many of us here on earth. But one sweet day we will meet again in Heaven where no more tears will be shed.

In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

MEMORIES*

Times may change
Hardships come and go
But just remember
He will follow you wherever you may go
In Him you can find that place
Where he will take your pain
Turn it in to happiness
And teach you to rejoice again

Chorus:
In Him there is Peace
In Him there is Hope
In Him Joy abounds
In Him nothing keeps you down
Just trust in Him
Keep that little grain of Faith
And He will help you stand again

Memories to share
Good times to remember
Caring and loving
Crying and struggling
Just take His hand
And He will give you the strength to carry on
And start again

*To keeping her memory alive and in our hearts.

“But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.”
   -Isaiah 40:31
