                          Last Months Question
So many people tell me that Salvation cannot be lost.. Is this true? I know people who were saved when they were young and then went on to live their lives in the most unGodly of ways. It the Lord came back tonight would they still be going to Heaven or would they have to confess and ask forgivness before they could go ?
HERES WHAT YOU HAD TO SAY:

Pastor Gary Says:
the bible is very clear on eternal/everlasting life.  eternal/everlasting simply means forever.  Eternal life begins when one is born again (John 3).  without  the new birth, one will not see the kingdom of God(John 3:3,5,15,16,17,18).  with the new birth(to be  born  again), one has eternal  life.      To   have assurance  of    salvation is  to  be absolutely
confident that we are saved and that if we died suddenly , we would go immediately  to heaven.  Assurance of salvation is possessing the Lord Jesus Christ.  John 20:28,29  declares:  "And I give  unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand".   I Samuel 16:7  declares:  "man looketh on outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart".      if one is truly born again,   one is a new creature  with a new life,  he/she does not like the old life of sin,  but enjoys a new life in Christ .(I John 5:11:  'and this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life IS IN HIS SON".   Jesus tells us to repent(turn from sin) for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.    Turn to God for salvation,  ask Him to save you.......... to forgive you and give you a new life in ! Him (Jesus Christ).   I don't know of anyone who has received Jesus Christ that would want to give Him up for a  life of sin and misery. (we as Christians  are not perfect,  we do sin,  but  we cannot live with it,  we go to the Lord for forgiveness and cleansing)
