When the instructor had the kids stretch their legs out to the side, and said, "touch toes"... jordan reached over, touching her neighbors toes, thus starting a trend, as the other girls started giggling, realizing her mistake, but reaching for THEIR neighbors toes

and at the end... 1 piece of candy each for a job well done!
Jordan was so excited about her first day of Ballet. She set her little alarm clock, got up on her own, showered, and was dressed 2 hours before it was time to go! She was too nervous to eat breakfast, but did choke down a banana. Her first words to me were, "good morning Mommy, get up.... Today, I start my dancing career!" She wasn't shy at all when we got there, and in fact dismissed me as soon as we walked in the door. I couldn't possibly leave and miss her first class, and she tolerated this well, when I said that I needed to take pictures for Grammy and our family. She was SO intent on what the instructors were saying. The girls in the class were 4-6 yrs old. The others had been to 5 classes already. Although it took her a few seconds to figure out the positions, she definately caught on fast, and the other parents there couldn't believe that it was her first time. Half way thru the class they changed into their tap shoes, and Jordan was just SO excited. All of these girls clicking away... it was truly precious. We can't wait til next week!
