The last few days had been tedious ... he never realized just how difficult it was
to get from the heart of the Federation (Earth), to the outer borders (DS9) as a
civilian. But once he severed his ties to Starfleet, that is exactly what he had to do
to get back home. Of course, 'home' was not exactly where he was going ... his
home was now in Cardassian space ... and he was on his way to join the Maquis
... to help his people, now that they had been abandoned by the Federation.
Deep Space Nine was his final stop before he met with the Maquis leaders ... he
would be contacted there for his final indoctrination. In the mean time, there was
vital strategic information that he was told to get his hands on ... he knew that
success in this endeavor would guarantee his position with the Maquis.
Of course, his Starfleet training was also a step up on the ladder ... but the
Maquis had been burned before by Starfleet infiltrators ... he would need to get
this information in order to gain their trust.
As he arrived on DS9, he felt apprehensive. The place was crawling with
Starfleet personnel, and although nobody knew his real reason for leaving the
fleet, word had spread of his resignation. Luckily for him, he knew few of the
Starfleet personnel on DS9, and those he was acquainted with were easily
avoided, he hoped.
His contact had told him that the information he sought could be found with the
local tailor. He had been given the proper recognition codes, and told what to
expect ... if all went according to plan, he would get the information they
required ... and a new set of clothes. The perfect cover for his meeting with the
man. The only detail that was not agreed upon in advance was the method of
payment. That would be left to the discretion of Chakotay ... and the tailor, of
course.
**************
Chakotay sipped his coffee while sitting at a table overlooking the gaming area of the local establishment ... a place called Quark's. He had arrived at the station earlier than anticipated, and
still had about 40 minutes until his appointment with the tailor.
When he had first arrived, he had asked a few discrete questions ... and in so
doing, had ascertained that the tailor went by the name of Garak. He had,
however, been unable to discover more than his name, and the location of his
shop. For some reason, nobody wanted to talk about the tailor.
After making his inquiries, he quickly retreated to the upper-level table. It
seemed to be the perfect place to get a feel for the station, without attracting the
attention of STARFLEET. This close to the disputed area of space, he wondered
how much Maquis traffic came through here ... and if the 'locals' were friendly to
their cause or not. STARFLEET, of course, would not be, but the Bajoran
people? They very well could be a source of support and information.
Still contemplating, Chakotay finished his coffee, and made his way slowly to the
tailor's shop. As he entered, he could hear voices in the back room ... apparently
another customer was with the tailor. Since a new outfit was part of his cover, he
took this opportunity to look over the selections on the racks ... contemplating
what he would have the tailor make for him.
As he looked over the wide variety of styles, the voices from the back got a bit
louder, as if the two were entering the main part of the shop. Chakotay stood
behind the rack, listening intently to the conversation.
" ... Garak."
"But my dear Doctor, why does Sisko feel he has to go after them?"
"It's part of his job. Besides, I would think you, of all people, would want to see
the Federation do whatever it can to protect the Cardassian/Federation peace."
"My dear, you know I have no love for the Cardassian government ... after all, I
am *here* because of them, am I not?"
"You do keep telling me that ... but I still wonder sometimes."
At this point, the two had emerged far enough into the shop that Chakotay could
see them ... at least, he could see the back of the Starfleet doctor ... Garak was
blocked from his view, as he stood facing the doctor. He was not entirely sure,
but it looked as if the doctor reached out to the other man, as he went on, "I *am*
sorry about dinner tonight ... I promise to make it up to you when we return."
"I will hold you to that promise," the other replied, as he pulled the doctor into an
embrace. As he stepped back to let the doctor leave the shop, Chakotay got his
first glimpse of Garak ... and realized that the tailor was a Cardassian!
His mind was racing. // do the Maquis leaders know their informant is one of the
enemy? how can they trust him? could this be a trap? // All these thoughts kept
spinning around in his head, as he tried to decide on his course of action.
When the doctor was gone, the Cardassian turned to Chakotay with a smile on
his face ... "Tarkellian Silk is a wonderful fabric," he said, by way of greeting.
"Yet impractical for the 'outdoors-man'," was the prearranged reply. He had
decided to get the information, and then determine if it was worth the risk. If the
conversation he had overheard between the tailor and the doctor was any
indication, Garak was not in league with the Cardassians. But then again, the
doctor was not entirely sure, and he certainly knew the tailor far better than
Chakotay ever dreamed of knowing him.
"Perhaps ... but even the most zealous of 'outdoors-men' must come 'indoors' once
in a while, and enjoy the pleasures offered there." Garak concluded with a
predatory smile.
"I do concede your point ... however, I would like to look at more practical fabric
at the moment." With these innocuous, but pre-arranged phrases completed, he
had taken the first step to becoming one of the Maquis ... and his stomach felt as
if it were twisted in knots.
Suddenly, the realization of what he was doing hit him ... with this conversation
he was sealing his fate ... his betrayal of his oath to Starfleet was complete ... it
was now impossible for him to 'turn back'.
Chakotay's thoughts were clearly etched across his face, as the tailor shook his
head before speaking once again. "I see you are reluctant to deal with me," he
started, and seeing the look of denial cross the human's features, he continued,
""no need to deny it ... but I assure you, I mean you no harm. I am but a simple
tailor ... nothing more."
Crossing the room to where his sizing scanners awaited, he motioned to the
Human, "come, let me take your measurements ... then we can see what I can do
for you." The predatory smile was back on his face, and Chakotay expected his
eyes to be cold and suspicious. He was shocked to see warmth in the sparkling
blue eyes ... and something more that he couldn't put his finger on ... something
that made Chakotay uneasy, though he didn't know why.
He stood where the Cardassian told him, and let him take his measurements. So
far, nothing unusual had happened, and he was beginning to wonder what kind of
information the tailor could possibly have ... and exactly what kind of 'payment'
he would be expected to make.
Chakotay, being slightly impatient, and wanting to get out of the shop as quickly
as possible, started to ask Garak about his information, but before he uttered a
word, Garak spoke.
"So, you're the outdoors type. Hmmm ... I think I have just the thing for you."
And with that, he went to the back room. He returned a moment later with a bolt
of fabric ... what appeared to be soft, supple hide of some sort. "Tell me, do you
have an aversion to 'natural' fabrics?" he asked, as he took a length of the soft
brown 'cloth' and laid it over one of Chakotay's shoulders, and ran his hand over
his cloth-covered chest.
Chakotay shuddered at the touch ... it was far too intimate for his comfort. Not
that he had an aversion to intimate contact with another man ... but this was not
just 'another man' ... this was a Cardassian! Suddenly, he realized what it was he
saw in those blue eyes that troubled him so ... and caused his body to betray him
by responding to the touch. It was desire ... or more likely lust. But no matter, he
was aroused by it, despite his loathing of the Cardassian people and what they
had done to his homeworld.
Not wanting to jeopardize his mission, however, he forced himself to look the
Cardassian in the eyes, as he replied, "No ... I actually prefer them." the
'huskiness' of his own voice came as a surprise ... and he could see that the
Cardassian noticed, as well, as his smile widened, and he pressed his body
against the Human's.
Chakotay pulled away, as he felt the Cardassian's hand press against his crotch.
Garak would have none of that, however, and pulled the reluctant human close
once again, as he whispered in his ear, "if you want my information, you'll give
me what I want."
Chakotay knew he had no choice ... not if this information was as vital as he had
been led to believe ... but he did not want to give in to the demands of this
loathsome creature. Fighting off his aversion, he let the Cardassian fondle his
cock, ashamed that he was responding to his touch. Trying to keep the passion
out of his voice, he said in a strained whisper, "you should have stated your terms
in advance ... *then* I would have been prepared for the price you would ask for
this information."
"Ah, my dear ... but I did not know what my price would be," Garak replied, as
he stepped back to inspect the impressive bulge his manipulation had generated.
His smile widened, as he saw the look of apprehension on the Human's face.
Garak had been painfully aroused all day, in anticipation of his *dinner* date
with the good doctor, but when he had come by to cancel, Garak knew he needed
to devise another plan to relive his condition. As soon as he realized who the
human was who had entered his shop, he devised an alternate plan for the
evening.
It helped that this human was extremely attractive ... although not necessarily the
type he usually went for, he would do very nicely. Garak removed the length of
fabric from Chakotay's shoulder, and set it aside, then came back to run his hands
over the muscular chest, saying quietly, "tonight, you will make a 'down payment'
for the information you require. This information will be on a disk, sewn into the
lining of the vest I will make for you. You may pick up your new outfit tomorrow
evening ... make sure you have five strips of Gold-Pressed-Latinum for your final
payment."
Chakotay was stunned ... this was a very high price to pay, even without the sex
... especially considering he had no idea what the information was. Before he
gave himself to this insufferable Cardassian, he had to know if it was worth it, so
he asked, "how do I know the information is worth such a price?"
"You don't," was all Garak said, as his smile grew wider. Seeing that he may
have pushed this human a little too far, and fearing he may back out of the
agreement, he decided to give him a small amount of information ... after all, it
was the least he could do ... and he would certainly make him pay for the
information later this evening. "The disk contains starmaps ... Cardassian trade
routes, and the like ... I cannot tell you more."
Chakotay relented, saying, "they better be as good as you say ... or I will be
back."
"You must believe me ... I would not deceive you in this matter." With that,
Garak walked away from his customer, and pulled out a few drawings, sitting at
his work table, and motioning his guest to the chair opposite. In a more
conversational tone, he continued, "so ... here are a few styles for you to choose
from. They are all my designs ..." and pointing to one of the drawings, he
continued, "and if I do say so myself, this one would be ideal on you, in the
fabric we discussed."
Chakotay agreed with his assessment, and the deal was made. He would meet
Garak in Quark's at 1900 hours for *dinner* ... where he would make his first
payment. The Latinum for his final payment would not be a problem, although it
would just about wipe out his funds. It was a high price, but one he was willing
to pay for the freedom of his world, and others like it.
*************
It was nearly 1900 hours, and Chakotay found himself back in Quarks, sitting at
a table overlooking the gaming tables. It also afforded him an excellent view of
all who entered the establishment.
He had spent the intervening time since his meeting with Garak walking the
station ... perusing the shops, and other areas frequented by the tourists. The
observation deck proved the most interesting, as the wormhole opened while he
was there ... as he had heard, it was an awesome sight!
He had also spent the time contemplating his situation ... the idea of fucking a
Cardassian was repugnant to him, yet he could not deny his physical reaction to
the advances of the tailor. Obviously, he was reacting to his 'maleness' ... and that
response was overriding his natural dislike of his species. For the sake of the
cause, he had resigned himself to the necessity of forgetting that the man was a
Cardie.
As these thoughts were going through his mind, the Cardie in question entered
the bar. By the looks he was getting, he was not especially welcome there. He
spoke briefly with the Ferengi behind the bar ... Quark, himself, from what
Chakotay had been told ... and saw him gesture up to where he was sitting.
Garak made eye contact with Chakotay, and smiled his predatory smile, as Quark
handed him a small disk. Garak acknowledged this with a nod to the proprietor,
then made his way up to Chakotay's table.
"So nice to see you again, my friend," Garak said, as he sat across from
Chakotay. Before his companion could react to the familiarity of the greeting, he
continued, "I must admit, I was quite surprised to see you enter my shop this
afternoon ... what has it been," he asked with a wink, "five years?"
"Something like that," was Chakotay's cautious answer. Obviously, the
Cardassian was creating a 'past' between them to cover this unusual meeting. He
just wished that he had been prepared for the role he was expected to play ...
theatrics were never his strong suit.
"Ah, my tattooed friend ... always the cautious one." Garak stood, and motioned
for his companion to do the same, saying, "Come ... I've arranged for us to use
one of Quark's holosuites ... I don't know about you, but I prefer the peace and
quiet of the holosuites over the din of the casino."
"I suppose that all depends on the program one chooses," Chakotay answered, as
he stood to follow the Cardassian into the private room.
"Oh ... I have a special program in mind ... one I devised for the enjoyment of
both Human, and Cardassian." As he stood in the doorway to allow Chakotay to
enter in front of him, he reached out, and grabbed the human's ass as he passed.
"At least, it has proven enjoyable for *one* human ... I hope you find it so, as
well."
The first thing Chakotay noticed was the dim lighting, and then the heat hit him.
It was a sticky, cloying, stifling kind of heat ... the kind that made your clothes
cling, no matter how loose-fitting they were. It was also the kind of heat that his
people experienced in the sweat-lodge ... some thought it aided the vision-quest
... others thought it was cleansing to the spirit.
He had always just found it annoyingly uncomfortable.
"Come, Chakotay ... make yourself comfortable." Garak said, as he pulled his
companion further into the room, where there was a 'hot spring', surrounded by
natural rock 'seats' ... the steam rising off of the water smelling slightly metallic.
Resigning himself to the inevitable, Chakotay reluctantly followed the
Cardassian to the edge of the spring. Once there, he turned and reached out to
unbutton Chakotay's shirt. Chakotay tried not to react to the lust in the other's
eyes, or the touch of his hands ... but no matter how much he resisted, his body
betrayed him. Soon, he would be stripped of all his clothing, and his
semi-aroused state would be known to the tailor ... then it would be only a matter
of time before his 'payment' would commence.
When Garak had finished removing Chakotay's clothes, he stepped back to
inspect his companion. He smiled, seeing the half-erect penis, and the defiant
stance of the Maquis ... he could see in his eyes how much he loathed himself for
his body's betrayal.
Circling his prey, Garak declared, "you may begin making your payment to me
by removing my clothing." And as he returned to face the human, he ran his
hands over the muscular chest, teasing the erect nipples. His words and his
actions caused the human to tense up, and his cock to stiffen. Garak was pleased.
After only a moments hesitation, Chakotay reached to undo the fasteners on the
neck, shoulder, and down one side of Garak's tunic. When he had opened it, he
slipped his hand into the opening to slide the garment off of the Cardassian's
shoulders. As his hand brushed across the neck ridges, he felt a shiver go through
the Cardassian's body, and a moan escape from his lips.
Curious, he repeated the gesture, and watched the eyes of his companion ...
apparently, the ridges were an erogenous zone. Seeing how his touch affected the
other, he felt his own body respond in kind. Admitting to himself that he was
horny, and needing the release that only a good fuck can produce, he opened the
Cardassian's pants, and slid them down over his hips.
The intricate patterns of scales and ridges, until now only glimpsed on his face
and neck, followed the contours of his hairless body. Chakotay ran his hand
lightly along the neck-ridge, then traced it across his chest, and down his flank,
to where it ended at the impressive erection. His action caused the Cardassian to
shiver, and release a copious amount of pre-cum ... the site of it caused
Chakotay's balls to tighten in anticipation of what he knew was to come.
Finally free of all clothing, and eager to 'collect his payment', Garak motioned for
Chakotay to follow him into the pool. Seeing his hesitation, he assured him, "the
water is quite tolerable for humans," he smiled lasciviously at the human as he
continued, "at least the good doctor enjoys it. Come, bathe with me ... and then
we will see how we can please each other."
Lowering himself into the water, he closed his eyes, and sighed. Soon, he felt the
water slosh around him, and knew that Chakotay had joined him in the pool.
Eyes still closed, he once again addressed his companion, "isn't this lovely?"
"Actually, it *is* quite pleasant," Chakotay agreed, as he settled into the
steaming water ... he could feel his tension easing ... and there was something in
the water that made his skin tingle in a very pleasant way.
Chakotay allowed himself to relax in the steamy water, sinking down against the
edge, until only his face was in the open air. The 'pool' was designed with built-in
seats, contoured for comfort and support. After only a few minutes, he had closed
his eyes ... almost forgetting the ultimate reason for his being here ... but Garak
was not about to let him forget.
He had moved slowly, until he was sitting next to the human. Garak knew that
the water in the spring caused the humans to 'tingle', as Julian had put it ... this
'tingling' sensation added to the arousal, and allowed Garak to take liberties with
the human without his knowledge.
He could see the fully erect penis through the clear water, and lightly reached out
to run his finger along the length of it. He could feel the human's pulse, as the
cock swelled even more. As Garak increased the pressure, Chakotay moaned, and
thrust his cock into the hand of the Cardassian.
// he is ready // Garak thought, as he stood, straddled the hips of the human and
sank to his knees ... effectively impaling himself on the engorged flesh. At the
first touch of his ass on the human's cock, Chakotay opened his eyes, and
clutched at the Cardassian. The tight pressure, as Garak sank down onto him,
rendered him speechless as the heat of the Cardassian consumed him.
Chakotay thrust into the Cardassian ... pulling on his hips with each thrust. In
seconds, he exploded ... breathing heavily as he pumped his hot seed into his
enemy.
When he was spent, Garak stood, and said, "my turn," and grabbed Chakotay by
the shoulders, turning him over onto his knees. He grabbed his own cock, and
milked some pre-cum to use as lubricant, then slipped a finger into the human.
He was tight, although not as tight as Julian had been.
As he prepared Chakotay, he imagined that it was Julian under him, and nearly
came at the thought of his young lover. It had been some time since they had
visited this particular program ... he would have to suggest it when the good
doctor returned in three days. In the mean time, he would find relief in this
not-so-reluctant partner.
"So tell me," he said, as he slipped his third finger into the human, and heard him
gasp/moan, "is this your first time?"
"No .... oh ..." he moaned, as Garak found his prostate. He was already rock hard
again, with anticipation of what that Cardassian cock will feel like.
"But it *is* your first time with a Cardassian, is it not?"
"Yes."
"Good," said the Cardassian, as he removed his fingers.
Chakotay pushed back ... whimpering, "please ... fuck me!"
Garak centered his cock on the prepared opening, and slipped in past the tight
ring of muscle. His progress was slow but steady, until he was fully engulfed. He
then pulled out nearly all the way, and held his cock on the brink of slipping out
... feeling the muscles contract on the head of his cock nearly sent him over the
edge. He could only take this for a few seconds, then thrust deeply into the core
of this human. His spasm was as intense as it was quick.
Spent, he collapsed once again beside the human, who was leaning on his arms,
still in a kneeling position. Reaching out to caress the tatoo on his forehead,
Garak said, "thank you. That was a very generous 'down payment'." He turned
the human's face so that he could look in his eyes, as he continued, "let's get
cleaned up, then we will have dinner." And as if in afterthought, he smiled and
said, "when you come to my shop tomorrow, bring four strips of Latinum ...
you've earned a discount."
