I woke up this morning, and realized just how fortunate I am to be alive and in full control of my life. Being infected with those nanoprobes was a harrowing experience, surpassed only by the treatment I devised to remove them. What I find particularly bothersome, however, is the knowledge that had any of the humans aboard ship been infected as I was -- or T'Pol, for that matter -- my treatment would have been deadly to them.
To think that these cybernetic beings may one day make their way to Earth, intent on enslaving the human race, makes my skin crawl.
