TO SAVE ONE'S ENEMY

by T'Lin -- 0703.16

Nearly vanquished, I almost thought we angered Soval in our attempt to save his life. Or perhaps, it was just that is was Archer who saved him, and not the means. Had it been I who chose to do such a dangerous rescue, would he have reacted the same way?

I do not fully understand the animosity between them. At first, I assumed that Archer held Soval in contempt simply because he was Vulcan ... no longer. There must be some more personal reason for the continued hostility ... yet, if he despises him so, why did he risk his life to save Soval?
