| HOW TO BE SAVED Have you said, or heard someone else say, "We are all going to Heaven. We are just using different roads." If you have said this, or heard someone else say it, I say "Let's look in God's Word (the Holy Bible)." It says in John 14:6 that "He is the way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh to the Father, but by me(Jesus Christ)." Again (in Acts 4:12) the Bible says, "Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved." This means no church philosophy, no religion, no one but Jesus Christ can put you on the right road to heaven. I repeat: ONLY JESUS CHRIST can put you on the right road to heaven! If you are going to get to Heaven from where you are, you must be sure of the way. All roads do not lead to Heaven! Wrong roads lead to wrong destinations! If you follow the road you are on today, where would you spend eternity? A man can go to hell in his own way, but he can only go to Heaven God's way. God's way is through JESUS! It is important to have the right road map. The Bible, God's road map, says (in Matthew 7:13), "There is a broad road that leads to destruction and a narrow road that leads to eternal life. Today you are on one of these two roads. You cannot be on both roads at the same time. These two roads end at separate destinations - Heaven or Hell! WHICH ROAD ARE YOU ON? "Do you wish to be on the RIGHT ROAD?" Someday you are going to leave this world, but you do not know when? Do you know that when you leave, you are going to Heaven? Or, will you be going to hell? To be prepared for Heaven, you need a new life. God does not offer to fix your old life. But HE does offer you a brand new life in Jesus Christ. Instead, this new life comes from "a new birth." In John 3:3 it says, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Through His grace, your sins can be forgiven and your past life blotted out. When HE died on the cross, HE provided salvation--free for all! Your sins were redeemed fully on the cross. It must be received by faith, then He will take up residence in your life. HE will give you the power and grace to live for Him. Do you want to be completely free from your sins? Your frustrations? Your emptiness? Your bad habits? Jesus Christ can fill the void in your life, but the choice is yours. Jesus said (in John 6:37), "Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." Your acceptance of His invitation will determine the destiny of your soul forever and ever. Beware of the devil's DETOURS. They are always DEAD ENDS. If you want to get to Heaven from where you are right this very minute, you must be on the right road! You are at the cross-road right now and God gives you the choice. Can you believe it-in Joshua 24:15 HE says, "Choose ye this day whom you will serve." Believe it! It's true! Make your choice and call upon the Lord. Do it TODAY! NOW! DON'T WAIT! This is so wonderful.....in Romans 10:13, HE says "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." You can pray right now and invite Jesus into your heart; then you will know you are on the right road to Heaven. Oh, what a wonderful choice! If you have just prayed to receive Christ as your personal Savior, please contact a minister or pastor in a Bible believing church and let him know of your decision to follow Jesus Christ! Remember.....from John 3:16... "For God so loved the world, that HE gave his only SON.........so that you and I and everyone in the world could be SAVED." HOW? Through Jesus Christ only! God bless you in your decision. HE is waiting, even now, for you to make the right choice----to follow HIM! |
