The Closer is a large, somwhat humiond monster that you will encounter in most place on your joruney. It has two massive arms that it will use to crush you. It will also relese spikes to stab you with.
When you met it in the hospital, and thereon after, it will be able to spin it's arms in a cilciler mostion around its body to hit you with. When you see it begin to that, just get away.
Also, when you met it at the Church, it will be so strong, that you may want to avoid it all together.

The Double Head resembles a dog with bandages around it's legs, middle body, and upper head. That, and its head is sliced in half, thus giving it the name "Double Head".
Most of the time, you will find these things eating a courps or something, so you can sneak right by them. That, or you can place some Beef Jerkey on the ground and make them go after that.
In the Silent Hill stage, you will hear them howling in the distence. If you hear that, stop IMEDITLLY. They will ingore you if you don't move. This will only happen on Normal dificutly level or higher.
If you MUST fight these things, try and hit it when it leaps at you. This will knock it to the ground, and maybe even kill it.
