Letter to Konami
-What follows is the letter I sent to Konami. I will encourage you all to do it your own way, as long as they get there. Even though the damage is done on there part and I've already sent it, but please continue to e-mail me with your complaints on the game. I may just post them.-

Your game, Silent Hill 4, was supposed to be the horror game of the year. But, you took it the wrong way, by sending hoards of enemies at you, attempting to frighten players by using masses of monster and "ghost" that we could not kill. Well, it did the opposite. Making the game impossible to play and frustrating, it caused player to stop before they finished it. I am a large fan of the Silent Hill series, and even have a fan site on it. It brakes my heart that this is what you give us after showing the trailer at the Konami Gamers Day a year ago. From what I hear, sales of this game fell drastically a week after it came out, and never even showed up on a top sales list. Instead of the way the original Silent Hill was and still is remembered, Silent Hill 4: The Room will be remembered as the greatest failure ever in the game's history.

The reason I am writing this is in hope to warn you before you get to far ahead in making Silent Hill 5. Doing the same thing that you did in Silent Hill 4 will result in the death of one of the greatest games ever made, second to what happened with Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty because of Raiden. Don't make the same mistake.

One last item. I was asking around, and many said that they would like to see a remake of the original Silent Hill game on today's consoles (Playstation 2, XBOX, and PC). Me and my fellow Silent Hill fans would like to see this.

I could on and on about why Silent Hill 4 will not make it, but I have only a limited amount of space. I hope you take what I said into consideration.
