My fellow Silent Hill fans, it is with great pride that I say I have found a release date (sort of) for the movie Silent Hill, as well as a few of the higher-up crew members. Summer, 2006 will be the time we have been waiting for. The release of this great game gone to movie. Of course, game-to-movie movies have had a tendency to be bad. But, to ensure that it will not be the case this time, Konami will be right there on the set. Along with Samuel Hadida (Davis Films) producing the movie and Chritophe Gans directing, Roger Avary and Nicolas Boukrief will be writing the movie. But, the script has been written when Konami first made the game, right? This could mean that the game will have no place in the timeline of the games. So far, 2006 is looking to be the big year for the Silent Hill franchise. With the release of Silent Hill 5 on the Playstation 3 sometimes that year and the movie hitting the big screen during that summer, mainly in Portland, where the greatest horror game of all times will try to take the movie title. Silent Hill: The Movie will be filmed in Portland on scene.
