I know some people will think I am joking here or have been fooling around with the photo editor. This is the same plant, and both pictures show the color as the eye sees it. |

This is what these Dendrobium flowers really looked like when viewed where they grow, under a metal halide light. It doesn't just fool the camera, it really looks like that. |

I brought the plant upstairs and was surprised to find a plant with pink flowers in my hand. |

I did make very minor changes with a photo editor to make the color look exactly like what I saw. The pink version was adjusted with the plant sitting next to my computer for direct comparison. The changes were mainly little changes in brightness and contrast. |
