Town Meetings with the C.S. Board of Directors

List of Meetings

Since the spring of 2005, the Christian Science Board of Directors has been accepting invitations to visit the field to answer members' questions in open "town meetings." This Web site gives Mother Church members free access to the schedule of meetings as well as to some of the first-hand reports that are being circulated by attendees who have consolidated their hand-written notes.  Members submitting reports have made every effort to fairly depict the content of the main questions and answers.  Readers should understand, however, that the writers were not able to capture every detail.  They recorded speakers' words as closely as possible but not always word for word. You can also read a report of a conversation with the two teachers who are supporting Matters of Conscience. We asked them for clarification regarding some of the conflicting statements that have been made on the subject in town meetings. In the next column is a list of all town meetings we know of which have been held (or are scheduled to be held). A report is available for cities that are clickable. If you would like to send us notes for any meetings not already having a report here, or if you are aware of other meetings not on this schedule, please let us know. If you don't have a full report to send, but just want to pass along some comments (and you want others to see them), you can also post them to our blog.
