4. These songs are poetry. For each song, you must explain what the words mean. You must include if the authors used literary techniques to convey a message (such as; symbolism, metaphors, similes, alliteration, onomatopoeia, rhyme, rhythm, stanzas…, etc.) You must also include an explanation of the theme. (This may be included in your explanation of the meaning, but if not, it must be explained separately.)
5. You must keep track of each web site that you get information from and/or book(s) that you use and write down the title and author, if available.
6. Put all this information on a poster, posterboard, or in a booklet. You can do it by hand or you can use a computer. It should be visually pleasing; colorful and large enough to read when you present it. No photocopied material is permitted on your presentation. Use of a photocopy will be graded as if you did not include the material at all.
7. You will receive a separate grade for your: We will spend approximately 10 school days on this project. The rest of the project must be completed by you on your own. Due date: March 21.
