| Alternate costume colors: Start a new game and select a character. Enter one of the following character names to unlock two additional colors at the costume selection screen. Save screenshots Place a completely empty VMU in slot 2 of a controller that is plugged into port D. A screenshot requires 195 blocks of space. Start an online or offline game. Hold A and press Start on controller D to save the current screen as a full screenshot. Hold X and press Start on controller D for a close-up shot. If done correctly, a black screen with a countdown will appear. The game will resume after the countdown, and the screenshot will be on the previously empty VMU. Go to http://pso.donut.dhs.org with the Dreamcast Planetweb browser to transfer your snapshot from your email mailbox. You also can upload your screens on Sonic Team's Official PSO Visual BBS webpage and view other screenshots. Hidden artwork Place the game disc in a PC compatible CD-ROM drive to find images from the game in the "Extra" folder. Hard mode Successfully complete the game in offline mode to unlock the hard difficulty setting. Very hard mode Successfully complete the game in offline mode two times to unlock the very hard difficulty setting. Character movements Note: This trick requires a Dreamcast keyboard. Hold [Alt] and press [F1] through [F12] to make your character perform various movements. Change views Hold L + R and press Up on controller B, C, or D when in an area in online mode to switch views to that of one of your teammates. Turn off pop-up info palette A Dreamcast Keyboard is required for this trick, to turn off the big palette that appears every time you encounter a monster. Hold [Space] during game play (try using a piece of tape or a television remote). A green cursor will appear in the lower-left side of the screen. This does several things. Whenever you encounter a monster, the lower-left side of the screen will always be clear, This also frees up more of the screen so you can see more monsters appearing from other directions. Release [Space] when you want to chat. This is useful when playing as short characters. Fast Chat & Access to your Menu at Anytime (by Sakura) In order to do this you must have God of Equipment code on. 1) Fill your GUILD CARD comment box up with all spaces. 2) Go to Symbol chat and select the second symbol from the top and delete it. 3) Using the symbol that you just deleted, go to edit symbol and select move, and move the cursor up 12 spaces (must be exactly 12 or your game will freeze) and press the A button on your controller. This puts fast chatting and access to your menu at anytime in to effect. You will know it works when you hold down a short cut and see an incredible amount of your own chat bubbles. Others will see your bubbles going extremly fast (unless they have fast chatting enabled too, then they will see all of your chat bubbles). This also gives you access to your menu at anytime, meaning while fast chat is in effect you can press start to see your menu while talking to any of the in game charactors such as the nurse or the bank lady. You can also open your menu while dead, but the only thing you can do is send and reveice mail, send your GUILD CARD, and make or edit symbols. You can't cast techs while dead and you can't equip and unequip and drop things while dead. If you try to enable fast chatting and access to your menu at anytime and come to find out that it wont let you type, its because you forgot to fill your GUILD CARD comment box up with all spaces. Do not do fast chatting while your lagging or your screen will go black and you will disconnect. Also, if to many people are using fast chatting in the same team/lobby, that can cause your screen to glitch up and freeze, also this can make your screen go black and disconnect you. This is not limited to the second symbol, it can be done with every symbol. The reason I use the second symbol is because it works the best and never freezes if done correctly, all the others have a good chance of freezing you. Change Mail Name Step1:Turn on God Of Equip. Step2:Clear out comment and add the name you want to mail with Step3:Go to Symbol Chat and delete the first picture. Step4:Go back to delete item(greyed out) and click on it. Step5:Move the red arrows up out of the screen, until you can NOT see it. Step6:Go back to delete all(greyed out) and clear it. Step7:Do that 6 times(Steps 4-6), and then go to guild card. The name you entered in Comments should be there. Lobby RSOD Step1:Turn on God Of Equip And Infinite Items Codes. Make sure to turn off any FSOD/Bank codes Step2:Clean out your bank of any items. and only have one item on you(eg. saber) Step3:Dupe the item (saber) 50 times, till the bank says it is full. Step4:Drop the weapon you have just duped (saber) and it should say "no items" Step5:Take out everything that is in your bank, all 50 items (saber) Step6:Just walk into the lobby, and they should all RSOD. Notes:To RSOD again, just re-load into the lobby, by transporter. Warnings: 1)If a lobby is to full, you will FSOD. 2)This code may RSOD yourself sometimes. 3)This codes leads to VK. 4)DO NOT save the character named +++. |
