Since I rode 30,000 kms my first season I figured I might as well upgrade to a bigger machine. On June 19th 2002 I picked up a 2001 1400 Intruder.
Below are two pics taken on the day I received it.
The first was taken @ the dealer in Burlington Ontario.
The second was taken @ a friends house in Kleinburg, Ontario
Since then I have added highway pegs, toolpouch and saddlebags.
I plan on adding some extra lights soon and changing the rear signals with the front
signals from the 800 Intruder. That way I'll have running lights as well as signals.
This winter I hope to convert the rear signals and have them also work as
brake lights, then sculpt the seat for more comfort,
switch the handlebars to a taller variety.
I currently have a custom plate holder being chromed and plan
on adding extra running and signal lights to that as well. |
