| The Timely Trio, who perform in Montana and North Dakota, consists of Kim Callahan, Mavis Filler, and Dena Tippets. The trio sings folk, inspirational, and family-oriented music which is sure to "warm your heart and tickle your funny bone." We have been singing together for 20+ years and have three tapes and one CD available. Kim Callahan An audiologist in Dickinson, North Dakota. She has been writing songs since she was in her teens and has an incredible flair for creating a heart-warming ballad while traveling the 410 miles to Havre to perform for an event. She also accompanies the group on guitar. Mavis Filler An Employment Services Consultant with the Havre Job Service. She sings alto and lead and composes. Mavis comes from a country music background, having sung with her father's popular dance combo, the Bald Spots. She has been writing songs for several years, and tends to get most motivated when in the middle of a grueling love affair! Dena Tippets The Hill County Clerk of Court. She comes from a background of formal training and classical performance. Dena is also an accomplished pianist and accompanist. She has performed with the ACDA Auditioned Adult Choir in Spokane, Washington. |
