CHAPTER I
It was in early June 2000 during the afternoon as Scott Summers took a walk near the Xavier School. The thin yet tall leader of the X-Men wore a black polo shirt, burgundy cargo pants, black Nikes, and red ski-styled shades as he pondered about the Llyrans, who recently became their allies. They were survivors of the all now-extinct five Llyr planets when they migrated to Earth in the early 1950s. As the years passed, the aliens expanded and had several secret Terran agents, including Diamond Keison and Jane Garbo. Their agents were called the Procurators. Moreover, the aliens spawned the Novelers, an advanced group of Llyrans. Their primary headquarters was at Pacific Manuka, a Maori-Welsh community in Auckland, New Zealand while their second headquarters was in Faunus Demesne, a former hippie community, which was next to the Xavier School. However, several Llyrans had returned to space and now had two space stations that were 30 light years from Earth. As he continued to walk, Jamie Curtis joined him and started a conversation. The young college student had a thin yet curvy 6'2 frame, blue eyes, full ruby lips, smooth peaches and cream complexion, thick yet perfectly arched Brook Shields eyebrows, small yet long nose, rather high facial cheekbones, and bore some resemblance to her father. The student pharmacist, who was one of Faunus Demesne's new residents, spotted him two miles away when she stepped out of the movie hall. Moreover, she was secretly James Ellison's daughter. Jamie was adopted and sent to Hawaii when she was several moments old. When she was seven, she discovered her Sentinel powers during a tremendous storm. She spoke with a elaborate grin and sweet mezzo-alto voice as she wore a pink tank top underneath her short-sleeved shirt with somewhat large dark buttons; navy blue slacks; pink/blue leather Converses; and clear lip gloss. Her shoulder-length thick yet straight dishwater blond tresses were in a slovenly French roll with two hair sticks and several hairpins.
Before the late evening began, she waved goodbye to him and went to her house. The domicile was rather big brick house that was built during the early seventies. She shared with three other young women: Camille Sands, Goldi Russell, and Misty Goldblum. Camille, who was a daughter of JAG officers, was second oldest of the group. The Greek-born computer programmer had a 5'11 curvy yet thin frame, dark brown eyes, full light cherry lips, smooth chocolate skin, black thick yet lengthy wavy locks, long yet rather wide nose, well groomed thick yet long black eyebrows, cleft chin, and gentle yet raspy voice with a British accent. Goldi, who was a full Llyran, was a legal secretary. The Beverly Hills native had a 5'8 curvilinear yet slightly muscular frame, smooth olive complexion, dark silver eyes, puffy cherry-colored lips, a short yet wide nose, long ginger-colored thick yet straight mane, a small butterfly tattoo on the right side of her neck, and somewhat soft James Earl Jones-like voice. Misty, who was secretly Scott's half sister, was a New Zealand native. The half-Llyran, who was recently became a professional nurse, had a 5'8 thin yet muscular frame, black shoulder-length wavy hair, large hazel eyes, smooth strawberries and cream complexion, slightly large lips, well-arched eyebrows, and some resemblance to Scott. Moreover, her voice was like Scott but slightly higher. As Jaime entered, she smelled freshly made spaghetti, fried catfish, apple pie, and brussels sprouts. Her roommates prepared their large oval table as Jaime cleaned herself up.
After dinner, Misty thought about the Dragon's Tears Mystery in her room. Two weeks ago, the tears of Eros, who was the Llyran's last dragon, were stolen. The tears, which had incredible powers, were in a sealed yet invincible plastic orange phial. As she began to investigate, Professor Xavier became mysteriously comatose after a failed assassination. His wounds indicated that his attacker had Eros' powers and was a female. Soon Scott joined Jaime in the probe. It also was her first encounter with the tall mutant. As the inquiry went on, she noticed strange similarities between her and the older guy. Later they discovered that it was Dr. Kaiha Rhodes. The Llyran scientist, who hated both Terrans and Terran sympathizers, wanted to destroy the Terrans and to take over the universe. When they confronted the culprit, she turned into a 20-foot dragon with five eyes, flaming breath, glowing blue eyes, wings, and other powers. Scott fought with his eye powers while Jaime fought with hover sneakers and the Purple Spirit, an invincible sword. During the battle, the doctor destroyed Scott's shades and broke his ribs before Jaime hit her with a poison dart from her right hover shoe. As the poison quickly changed the doctor back to human form, the doctor leaped toward Scott but Jaime pierced her in the heart. The doctor died and dissolved until only the flask of Dragon's Tears remained. The young agent put the canister in her small backpack before she took out her first aid kit to treat Scott. As her mind returned to the present, she took a shower and went to bed.
CHAPTER TWO
The next day, Michael Kelly lectured about chemical formulas to his pharmacist students during his second morning class at the New York University. The college professor, who was Senator Robert Kelly's younger brother, was a mutant who disowned by most of his family several years ago. Before he discovered that he was a mutant, he considered as the favorite and was close to his brother. However he was not the only mutant in the family, his maternal grandfather and uncle were mutants as well as the richest family members. His grandfather took Michael in after his parents kicked Michael out of their house and his brother rejected him. Michael still lived with his grandfather at the Poseidon Mansion while his uncle lived at the Chimera Hacienda in Malibu. Michael Kelly looked like his older brother yet with shoulder-length thick wavy copper locks, thick mustache, short beard, large violet eyes, slightly rugged peach complexion, thin yet muscular 6'5 frame, and a gentle yet strong baritone voice. He had the abilities to heal, to shoot white energy beams from his hands, and to fly. Shortly afterwards, he went over last week's quiz questions. He wore a spearmint polo shirt, black trousers, spearmint trousers socks, dark comfort oxfords, a ponytail, a 1985 dark Swatch, and a white lab coat.
Meanwhile, Scott instructed his students about basic mechanism in a somewhat large classroom. He wore a short-sleeve mulberry stripe shirt, loose-fit plain front mulberry trousers, black comfort leather oxfords, plain black belt, dark red wraparound shades, and mulberry trousers socks. Shortly thereafter, he listened carefully to the students' questions with a stone face hitherto he answered him with a smile. He still felt slightly sore from his damaged ribs as he ran his fingers through his short mane. As the class ended, he sat down at his desk and took a stack of homework papers to grade.
Within several moments, he began to think about Misty, the young Procurator. He befriended her during the Dragon's Tears Mission although he found her hauntingly familiar and did not know why. Her warm smile reminded him of his brother, Alex. Even her giggles were like Alex but slightly higher. Her hands were like Scott's but smaller and in a different shade. Before he returned to grade the papers, Professor Xavier summoned him. As he entered the Professor's office, he noticed that Jack Essex, Lexington Belberg, Alara Endeavor, Nadja Lee, the Beast, and Michael Kelly with him. Jack, who was the Llyran leader, was a rugged 6'4 matured man with strawberry blond thick straight tresses, cherry full lips, silver eyes, slender yet long nose, dimpled chin, several scars on his chest, deep baritone voice, sparkling white teeth and thick Welsh accent. Lexington, who secretly Misty's biological mother, was a thin yet curvy 5'8 woman with smooth light brown complexion, hazel eyes, shoulder-length silky thick straight black mane, full lips, high facial cheekbones, sweet yet charming mezzo-alto voice, thick New Zealander accent, long yet slender nose, and slightly large glittery white teeth. Alara Endeavor, who was the head of Procurators, was a 6'0 thin yet muscular matured Terran woman with waist-length raven black curls, full ruby lips, green eyes, smooth creamy white complexion, long yet slightly wide nose, six fingers on left hand, thick Canadian accent, and soft bedroom voice. Nadja Lee, who was a Terran mutant, was the main Llyran space station's representative with a 5'10 robust frame, dark blue eyes, pouting cherry lips, dark long straight locks, smooth dark tan complexion, small yet long nose, soft yet melodious voice, slightly faded Southern accent, and slightly high facial cheekbones. Jack wore a 1950s black/blue buttoned-shirt with short sleeves, black cargo pants, black leather Timberlake hiker boots, a black small backpack, a black Timex watch, and silver skull ring. Lexington, who was a Noveler, wore an orange tee, black slacks, black ankle boots, a black fanny pack, French tip manicure, clear lip gloss, white rose-shaped brooch, and a small gold wrist bracelet. Alara wore a black tee, tan/black vest, tan khakis, black Nikes, light pink lip gloss, a small tan/black black pack, a gold college class ring, and a ponytail. Nadja wore a pink/blue short-sleeved capris outfit, pink/blue Keds, dark pink lip-gloss, a French braid, dark apple-shaped rubber shades, and dark small backpack. Michael, who was a Procurator, had the same outfit that he wore earlier today but without the lab coat.
"Scott, it is so good for you to come. I see that you know our distinguished guests. They need our assistance. Jack will provide us details." Professor Xavier spoke calmly with a serious expression as he got up from his desk and stood near Jack. Charles wore a bronze polo shirt, black pants, and black comfort leather oxfords as he ran his fingers through short straight blond hair. Scott turned his eyes toward the Llyran leader, he knew that Charles already had the amplification.
"Thanks Charles. Young Terran/Llyran hybrids or the Crossbreds have started to disappear early this morning. We also learned that all of them are the Novelers' offspring. The remaining ten striplings are currently under heavy surveillance in a secret area." Abruptly, Jack's watch loudly beeped before Chow Yei Meng's face appeared. The Asian, who was an Alabama native, was the security chief of the secondary Llyran headquarters and had 6'0 thin yet muscular frame, dark eyes, strong chin, large nose, black short spiky hair, slightly thin lips, long yet thin dark eyebrows, booming baritone voice and thick Southern accent.
"Chieftain Essex, a group of masked people had taken the ten crossbreds. I have now several injured officers."
"Meng, I just have sent the medics. They are on their way. Essex out." Jack turned off his communications channel as he took out his laptop of his backpack. "All of them had tracers and we will find them soon." Within seconds, the laptop attested that the lost striplings were on a cloaked insurgent Llyran ship. The ship was near Saturn's first moon. The rebel Llyrans were called Agitators. They, who were created during the mid-seventies, considered the Terrans as lesser species and the Novelers as a joke. Their leader, Byron was once third in command of the entire Llyran race until the other high officials impeached him when they discovered his incriminating methods during his rise to power. He was a huge muscular 6'5 rather matured man with dark red eyes, scabrous dark carmine skin, straight middle-length honey blonde hair, long yet thin lips, a strong pointy chin, a large crooked nose, a faded Welsh/New Zealander accent, and deep yet creepy voice. His proponents now called him Hidalgo Byron.
CHAPTER III
Shortly afterwards, they aboard Zeus I, a spacecraft and went to outer space. As Jack piloted the ship, the ship's scanners showed that the Agitator ship was near by. He quickly cloaked the ship before he told his strategy and gave them transporter wristbands. Later they unnoticeably beamed on the ship as Charles found the young Crossbreds telepathically in a large laboratory. All of them were bounded and had blinking white plastic bands on their necks. Several were in trances although the rest, who were not, were gagged. The protagonists untied the conscious ones first. Misty told them that the necklaces were pain bands after Michael unrestrained her. Her neck was red and sore since Hidalgo Byron briefly turned on her necklace with his remote control wristband after he captured her.
When the rest of the captives became unchained, dark gas started to fill the lab as the doors became locked. Scott quickly blasted the door and all of them escaped. As they entered one of the main corridors, they encountered many armed Agitators, who began to shoot them. The brave aliens ducked for cover and fired back. Michael and Jack threw some live grenades, which took out most of the antagonists as well as a couple of rooms.
As they entered another corridor, they encountered Hidalgo Byron and several of his men. The evil leader touched a blue button on his wristband and the entranced Crossbreds started to strike the admirable combatants. During the struggle, an entranced Crossbred knocked off Scott's visor. His eye blasts missed the Agitators by inches but caused a loud explosion that knocked the opponents off their feet. Misty, who managed to free herself from an enchanted Crossbred's grasp, tackled the evil leader. They struggled over the remote control bracelet. Finally she bit him and removed the bracelet, which she quickly smashed.
"You wretch," the Agitator leader screamed as he wrapped his hands around Misty's neck. Her nails dug into his red eyes. As he removed his hold, she punched him hard in the back of his head.
Two hours later, the opponents went to the authorities as the captives returned home. When Misty arrived home, she felt tired and bruised. After she entered her room, she went asleep when she fell on her bed. She later woke up in the middle of the night. She sat up in her bed and thought about her double life although her thoughts were brief when her stench quickly sent her to the shower. After she bathed, she returned to her slumber.
The next day, Garrett Hanks called her to his office. Garrett Hanks, who was the head of the secondary headquarters, was a chiseled 6'2 Las Vegas native with auburn wavy short locks, green eyes, smooth ginger complexion, strong nose, mezzo-baritone voice, and dark red brimful lips. She wore a peach New Zealand University tee, a ponytail, clear lip-gloss, black pants, and black Nikes as she entered his large lime-colored office. The older man was seated at his desk with a large folder that was on the middle of his desk. The seasoned agent wore a turquoise suit, black wing tips, a turquoise/black tie, a white short-sleeved business shirt, and a 1980 black Swatch.
"Please sit down, Miss Goldblum," he said gently yet sternly. "First, how are you? "
"I feel better since my torturous time is over."
"I'm glad to hear that yet I have some disturbing news. I will try my best to explain. In this folder, there is information about your origin. In a nutshell, you were created artificially...."
"What?!" Her eyes widened with shock as her past slowly began to piece together.
"Your real mother was artificially inseminated with human DNA against her will. She was part of an experiment to create Terran/Noveler hybrids for sterile Llyran couples. It was all the work of a now-dead mad scientist although the couples were unaware about the babies' origin. He would kidnap the female Novelers; implant them with human sperm; beam the fully developed newborns out of the surrogate mothers' wombs; erase their memories of the whole ordeal; and return them..."
"How long since you have known?"
"Five years."
"Five years!"
"It started when several of the female Novelers, including your mother, begin to have strange flashbacks and other problems. Then we found the scientist's hidden notes and files in an underground lab at an abandoned New Zealand farm. Afterwards, we learned the real identities of your parents as well as the others so we kept it as a secret until now." He got up and went to Misty. "Your mother is Lexington and Christopher Summers is your dad. Scott, Cyclops, is your half-brother." Misty's mouth dropped. "At this very moment, Professor Xavier is telling him the same thing."
Meanwhile, Cyclops was blown away when he had heard the news. Soon everything started to make sense. He wondered if his father knew about it. However, he doubted it. He knew that he had to tell Alex, his brother about Misty when Alex visited him next week.
Later that day, he walked rather nervously to Misty's house as he wore a purple/black polo shirt, purple pants, black Converses, and purple-framed red Raybans. Many emotions and thoughts went through him as he came closer to her house. When he came to the door, he took a moment to collect his thoughts. He took a deep breath and released it before he knocked on the door. The door was opened and it was Misty.
"Hello brother," she laughed.
"Hello Misty," he smiled as he went in the house.
