Summer of 2000 we all got to see a brand new twist on the X-Men and our favorite characters. A lot of things changed in most of the characters, such as Toad's new kewl appearance. For me it was quit a bit of a shocker when I thought 'Gee, Toad's kinda cute!' LOL! Along with the "cuteness", he had a completrely different attitude also. In the comics, Toad is a sniveling lacky with very little personality except for the one that is set for him by the one he follows. Also, in most occastions, Toad is rather clumsy. In the movie however, we got to see an attitudale, athletic, and very able Toad. All in all, this was a great character. |
