Comments: Okay, Toad is NOT all important in this one. But, he is more helpful than he (and his relatives) was in Super Mario Bros. 1. In this one, he will give you items. He will hand you useful stuff like a frog suit (which should make a comeback), leaves (ditto, except the wing cap is just as cool), mushrooms, and the priceless flute. If only everything were given to us for free just because we found their owner. Currently, a remake for the GBA is in the making, but it's not Super Mario Advance 3.
Tricks and Cheats:
Super Mario Bros. 3 (Nes and All-stars)
Ah... the flute trick. If you don't know it, then where have you been? Or were you born after the release? Well, near the end of the third level in World 1, there is a white block platform. Go on it and hold down until you fall through. When your behind the scenary, run to the end of the stage. If you go behind the black part (the end of the level) you'll enter Toad's house. Toad (cause he's so very nice) will give you a flute. In the castle in the first world, make sure you have a racoon tail so you can fly. Now,before the first door, fly up to the ceiling (the one you can't see because it's so high) and when you're out of sight, fly to the right. You'll be on a secret ledge. Now, walk right as far as you can. When you stop hold up and you'll enter a door. Inside is a chest that holds a flute. The third flute is in the second world. When you get there, make sure you took a hammer from one of the Hammer Bros. Hit a rock in the upper right hand corner. Walk of the palm tree for a secret map area. The Fire Bros. will give you a flute if you beat them, and Toad will give a Frog suit for the next world. |
