TacOps 3.1.5 | ||
 | A personal favorite. A semi-realistic counter-terrorist mod where you play as either a terrorist or special forces trooper in a variety of missions. You use real life weapons, like AK-47s and MP5 Navys. It has a more "arcade" feel to it than Counter-Strike or Infiltration (some other counter-terrorist mods), that is, you can fall from buildings without taking much damage, run indefinately, and reload while jumping, etc. You'll need this baby to use any of the TacOps add-ons listed below. TO-DustDeluxe1.1 | ||
| As the readme puts it, "not exactly a copy of DE_dust from CounterStrike, but rather a tribute". Sure, if you're a CounterStrike veteran, you will recognize familiar places, but DustDeluxe is much more than just DE_dust. It has underground tunnels, and burned out homes in which you can snipe from. Although most TO bot support isn't all that, DustDeluxe is an exception for the offline player. Bots actually plant and disarm the C4!!! Of course, the bots still aren't the biggest challenge you'll ever face in a game of TO, but DustDeluxe's bot support runs circles around the bot support in every other level for Tactical Ops that I've played.
