Review the locations of the following airfields and landmarks:

- Highway 10, Highway 98, and Highway 59

- The Chicken Ranch

- Perdido Bay, Wolf Bay, Oyster Bay, Weeks Bay, and Mobile Bay

- Bronson, Saufley, Wolf, Barin, Foley, Jack Edwards, Fairhope, Silverhill, and Summerdale

- Point Clear and Fort Morgan

E.   Bailout

      “Crew, Canopy, Cords, Harness, Crouch, Dive Pull”

      “Slower, Lower, Squawk, Talk, Secure, Turn”

1. Notify Crewmember

DEMONSTRATE ITEMS

A.  Survival Gear Issue/Inspection

      - Issued on the first deck, VT-4 side

      - Be sure to inspect your survival vest every time you are issued one

      - You will be given a demonstration of a proper inspection

B.  Aircraft Issue/Yellow Sheet Preparation

      - You will be issued an aircraft by maintenance, as indicated on the wall in ready room 1

      - You must go down to maintenance to inspect the aircraft’s logbook

      - You will be given a demonstration on how to do this

      - Be sure to note the fuel in each tank, the oxygen amount, and the aircraft parking space

C.  Aircraft Preflight

D.  Oxygen Mask Usage

      - Be sure that you are comfortable with how to use your oxygen mask

      - You will be shown how to hook up and remove your mask and radio cords

      - Make sure your mask is clean before you leave Gear Issue

E.   Aircraft Postflight

      See back of PCL

- Make sure you get the information you will need for your E-Flir, such as Takeoff and Land times, G-Meter readings, Landing/Approach information, Number of starts, and whether or not either relief tube was used, etc.

- Be sure to shut off all switches and install control lock

- Don’t leave any of your equipment in the aircraft
