Who We Are

Hillsboro Toastmasters is a non-profit, self-improvement organization, dedicated to helping members of the Hillsboro Oregon community enhance their communication and leadership abilities.

Club membership consists of community members from all types of jobs, education and skill levels (government employees, students, engineers, home makers, farmers, sales, business owners, politicians etc).

What We Do

At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking in a variety of situations and working with others in a friendly, warm and supportive environment.
We meet once a week for about an hour. Each meeting provides everyone an opportunity to practice:

     - Conducting meetings
     - Giving impromptu speeches
     - Presenting formal speeches
     - Improving English skills
     - Constructive evaluations
     - Overcoming nervousness
