I've been a paramedic in the Chicago area for the past 20 years. I've been off "the street" for several years now, chained to a desk at the same company I used to run calls for (we contract to local fire departments), but I still occasionally get on a rig when the need arises. I also teach EMT-B's at a local community college.
I like Craig Brice because (like me) he is a neat-nic, a runner, and a paramedic. He's also one of those great secondary characters who you can make up so much about and not tick off anyone about messing with the "canon".
I first gained my appreciation of Brice through the old Code Red site. I want to thank that site's owner, Mary, for her help and guidance in starting up this one. Also thanks to the many friends I've made through this fandom (you know who you are). And big thanks to my long-suffering wife and children, who are good enough to put up with daddy's weird obsessions every now and then.
