Dr. Creer trained at Palmer College of Chiropractic
in The United States and at International College of Chiropractic,
Preston
Institute of Technology ( now R.M.I.T. Melbourne, Aust.)
He has post-graduate qualifications in clinical science and
Chiropractic Radiography and Radiology and has
under-taken studies
in the fields of Applied Kinesiology,
Sports Medicine, Athlete
conditioning and Nutrition.
He successfully achieved certification for Proficiency Rating
in Activator Methods in October, 1998 and attained the top Activator qualification of Advanced
Proficiency Rated in April, 2000.
He has been a member of the Chiropractors
Association
of Australia since its inception and prior to that was a
member of the Australian Chiropractors Association,
serving on the South Australian
Executive Committee
for a number of years, as well as holding office
on the Federal
Committee while organizing the Annual
Conference held in Adelaide in 1984
He is licensed to take and interpret radiographs in South Australia,
as well as refer for
Medicare-subsidized X-rays
in hospitals and private radiology
practices.
Phil also meets registration requirements with the Department of Veterans
Affairs
and therefore provides Chiropractic care to Returned Soldiers and other
entitled persons at Departmental expense.
He is an accredited Workcover service provider,
being registered with that Workers Compensation
body as an approved
medical expert in the
field of Chiropractic.
Similarly, he is able to provide care for claimants
under
the State Government Insurance Commission's Third Party
vehicle accident injury scheme.
He travelled to Melbourne in October,1998 to successfully
sit for
Certification Examinations in Activator Methods.
Additionally he attained Advanced Proficiency Status in Activator Methods in April, 2000. This is the highest qualification offered in this procedure.
He attended - as a delegate of the South Australian Branch
of the Chiropractors
Association of Australia - the World Congress on Chiropractic
in Auckland, New Zealand,
held in mid May of 1999.
