However, Lee is set to snub them in order to play for his favourite club in the world, Everton. He has already stopped playing international football in order to concentrate on his Everton career and it's certainly paid off. He scored our first goal of the season against the Arse and has been in superb form ever since. In fact, I think Gravesen has actually stolen his thunder this year because very often reporters on Sky and the like talk about the great skill of Tommy.... when they're actually watching Lee!
In a way, he has been this season's surprise package. We've always known him to be a hard working player, but suddenly he's started playing lik the David Beckham of old.... as in the one that scored penalties.
I speant a lot of last season sticking up for him on the Blue Room when the nutters were saying he wasn't good enough. Thanks for proving me right Lee!
