KAI'S Hong Kong

as seen through the eyes of me!

The building in the centre is the Bank of China building, the really bright one on the right is the Hong Kong Bank Headquarters, these buildings represents the economical power of HK, the HK Bank building was partly design by the famous architect Normal Foster and repute to be one of the ten most expensive buildings in the world due to its construction method and materials used.
This is the old clock tower of the Kowloon Railway Station, this is all there is left of the once magnificent Station which is the terminus of the Kowloon-Canton Railway, the rail link between China and Hong Kong.

This is the infamous Kowloon Walled City, it probably had the most population per square kilometre in the world. During the demolition of the Walled City, many residents (and maybe some pretenders as well) protested that they were not compensated enough, almost leading to large scale riots...
This is the Hong Kong Space Museum (well, part of it!) is the original building of the large Cultural Centre Complex on the water front at Tsim Sha Tsui, part of HK Government's plan to promote cultural awareness in the artistically barren Hong Kong (!?!?!)

Inside view of a Mass Transit Railway Train. This is the underground system of HK, as its name states, transports around 2,000,000 a day! Because of the number of people on board, the carriages are all linked together, and on a good day, you can see from one end of the train to the other, inside! Well......

My favourite mode of transport, the tram... When I took this photo I almost fell out of one from the second floor, so you can't see much here.....

Hopefuly I will have more pictures on here soon, so wait!
