Saturday, and many reporters from all over Asia flew
over to attend it. The new album contains a lot of good
works in it, especially the hit song, "Dreams Awaken"
which caught many's attention. This is because there is
Na Ying's best friend, Faye Wong, who did the
background vocals in it. Na Ying said when she first
listened to "Dreams Awaken", she immediately liked it.
"At that time, the song was sang and written by Yuan
Wei Ren, and I felt that I had received a very godo song,
and I should make it a hit, as at present, this sort of direct
and simple song is popular. Especially when there was
teh help of Faye, who helped to do the background
vocals for it." So, was it Faye who actually volunteered
to do the vocals, or was it Na Ying who actually asked
her for her help?... This is the main controversy which
had occured. Na Ying explained that Faye and herself
are like sisters, and during the recording, Faye often
visited her in the studio. Once, Faye heard Na Ying,
while she was practising the song, "Dreams Awaken",
and she started humming along with it. After that, Faye
suggested that the song would sound even better with
background vocals. Na Ying was thinking, "Why don't
you do it for me?" But didn't dare to asked. In the end,
Faye joyfully walked into the studio, and on the spot,
both of them started singing the song happily together.

Daily reported that in an interview with Leslie Cheung, he wanted to win over the diamond ornaments that
Faye were wearing in a Mahjong game, and Carina Lau
Ka-ling were standing behind Faye and told Faye ruined such
good cards that time, and Faye said "I can accept that if you tell
me my singing skill is not good, but I won't take it if u say my
Mahjong-playing skill is bad!"
Sujuan also reported that
Faye & Na Ying were invited for
Beijing University 100th anniversary event.
They were part of
the guest of honour. It was being reported that both felt very
honoured to be invited to participate in this event. Among
those distinguished present were of course Jiang Zhe-min &
lots of Beijing University alumni. It was also being reported
that CCTV broadcasted this show live
last night, and watched
by millions all over the world.

will indeed hold a concert in December this year. There will
be around 20 shows. Faye's concert will be right after Aaron's
(who is holding 20 shows too). Wow! I am just so happy; but I
wish Faye will hold a world tour too, and come to United
States in California.
